Israel will attack Iran in the future. If Israel attacks the nuclear plant later it would give it’s critic a lot of ground to backup what they have been saying all along that Israel gives disproportionate responses to attacks and that Israel is the reason for terrorism and such. This seems like an unlikely scenario.

Israel has another plan. Perhaps Israel is waiting for a time that would be less obvious to blow up the nuclear plants and programs sites. Israel may have some plan that would allow it pull off this attack without killing thousands of lives and allowing nuclear material to be spread around. This is possible

Iran is not nuclear. Iran is not building nuclear weapons or does not have a nuclear program that is really worth worrying about. Israel itself has said this is not the case and even the US has said it’s just a matter of time. This does not seem likely.

The most likely option might be the worst case scenario. Israel has called the start of the nuclear plant in Iran unacceptable yet they allowed it to happen. They may have allowed it to happen believing the fallout from attacking Iran would be horrendous and that they would simply have to attack Iran only as an absolute last resort. The problem with this may be that Israel will not have the warning to stop Iran. Also, Iran in the meantime may give nuclear weapons to other countries and terrorists and the whole situation may cause an escalation that can not be fixed and will be worse than the fallout had Israel attacked.

There could have also been several other things the Israelis were thinking or considering and there is no way to know but time may tell.

There’s one possibility that I think even the most conservative commentator has yet to really consider with it’s deepest implications and this possibility just might answer a lot of questions. Some people have speculated that Obama is the antichrist but whether he actually is the antichrist or just a charismatic communist there’s more to it. What if Obama’s end goal is the complete destruction of the United Sates? Even for those who might think he’s a dedicated communist or even the antichrist, they wouldn’t quite imagine that he wants to literally destroy the country as his end goal.

I don’t just mean change America, I mean fundamentally transform the country beyond Democrat politics. Imagine that Obama wants to spend so much money that the country will go broke beyond levels of the great depression and that this is on purpose. What if Obama wants to act like there is no terrorism to give terrorists the upper hand? What if Obama wants to alienate our allies and embolden our enemies to weaken the country? The real question is why would any American, let alone the president of the United States want to destroy the country? The answer is that there are some people who hate this country and yes even some of them live here. There are some people who were taught that America is the great Satan. That America is nothing more than a country that was founded on racism. There proof is the decades of slavery that existed here, the lack of civil rights black people had for years after slavery and the native Americans that were continuously lied to and had one treaty after another abandoned as they were pushed onto reservations.

Look at Obama’s past and who he was raised by. Both his parents left him for radical goals and he was mentored by people his whole life that told him about the evils in America. Don’t get me wrong, America has done some awful and even evil things, such as slavery. No country is perfect and that is not an excuse but the idea of America was founded on religious freedom and that all men are created equal. As a country we have grown and are past a lot of these evils and our constitution is a good basis to govern a free nation but we still face other sins such as abortion. America is far from perfect but the citizens and even the government have done a lot to help other countries of the World. We have fought wars to protect other nations. America gives huge amounts of money to victims of almost every disaster, such as the Haiti earthquake and the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.

I am not saying this is a certainty but I think it’s possible that Obama thinks that America should be wiped out and restarted as a more just country from a new beginning. He may be working this angle on several fronts that include communism, an exploding economy, badly fought wars, the loss of allies and actually starting a race war.

If you think this is impossible or outside of Obama’s character consider why President Obama returned the bust of Winston Churchill that England loaned to the US after 9/11.

For now however, we should look at how America is falling apart in so many ways. While what happens to America is not explicitly mentioned in the Bible, it could have end time implications. As America goes so the rest of the world may go and worldwide collapse is certainly something that could fulfill the birth pangs Jesus warned us about.

Evil is real and we must acknowledge that there is a spiritual world where Satan and his army are working against God and all of humanity. We must also recognize that human evil exists. God wants no one to perish and gives us all a chance at salvation. However, mankind without God has an evil heart and continually seeks selfish ends. We must also understand that Satan uses people as pawns in his attempt to destroy people and fight against God.

We must be careful to avoid conspiracy theories that are full of nonsense though. Everything you read and hear should be checked in several places to see

if it is valid. There are those though that have less than ideal interests in mind for this country and the world or at least have plans that are different from what most Americans want. I know some people who laugh at the idea of the mob being involved in anything. However, organized crime is real, despite the many movies made about it. Because we don’t see this in everyday life and because it is often used in fictional movies, the average person doesn’t see it as something that really goes on. The same is true with Satan. Many people don’t believe there is a devil or demons. Many people have a hard time believing there are those who have worked for years to bring down or transform the United States into something else other than a free country. Is it really that hard to believe that the US has enemies or that enemies in the US would work from within in a long term organized plan to beat the system from within rather than fight an impossible outright battle.

We must see that a battle exists for this country on several fronts, spiritual, political, cultural and physical. We must pray for the country and for the people in this country and around the world. God may yet preserve America for another generation but even if he doesn’t we must work and pray to awaken the lost to the reality of a true and saving relationship with Jesus. We must also honestly and caringly help others to not lose their light to the world or to lose hope and faith.

On another note and perhaps more importantly South Korea some time ago announced that it was North Korea that sank one of its ships and killed several dozen sailors and all they have done is hold exercises.

It’s becoming more and more apparent that free and previously strong nations are paper tigers. These nations, including the US are afraid to respond because they want everyone to like them, including their enemies. They are like elementary school kids who think that giving the bully their lunch money will turn the bully in their favor. When a nation does stand up against its enemies such as Israel has done, it gets international condemnation.

In the same way, politicians are rolling over to allow the ground zero mosque to be built. They try to promote it as a healing opportunity, which it is obviously not when 9/11 families are being more hurt by this and the large cries to stop it are being ignored. They say this mega mosque will promote interfaith dialogue, but Islam does not believe in allowing non Muslims to speak freely. Just look at every Muslim majority country, the best you can hope for is to be a Dhimmi. There are no churches allowed in places like Saudi Arabia. The mosque is even being slated to open on 9/11/11, the ten year anniversary of the Islamic attack on the US.

It seems the world is ripe for the picking. It may only be a matter of time before someone steps up or steps from the shadows into place.

It seems that in history things build over time, occasionally there are large jumps but usually looking back many things should have been seen coming when the events are more clearly examined. One buzzword or buzz idea that people have speculated about in end times circle and without is the idea of global government. You may think one world government and new world order talk are just conspiracy theories but even if you don’t believe in human conspiracies, we know that Satan is continually working against us and he is conspiring to destroy humanity. We would be foolish to think he is just throwing everything at us every day and that is the extent of his plan. It is much more likely he has a plan that he is advancing to destroy mankind over time.

While we may or may not be in the end times, look at each event not as a triggering event to the end times but as another piece falling in place that will bring us closer to the end times. Even when a war is avoided or ended do not think that we have necessarily stepped back from the brink for now but consider what was accomplished by the event that may bring us closer to the next end time event.

Israel had to defend itself while armed “Peace” activists attacked the Israeli navy. The navy was stopping these activists who were trying to break the blockade. These activists were armed and were looking for a fight. Despite any evidence to the contrary, the “Muslim” world and most of the media in general will portray Israel as the aggressor. This is not the first time this has happened and it will continue to happen as a PR campaign against Israel until the entire world turns against Israel.

Joel Rosenberg wrote a non fiction book called Epicenter to try to explain why his fictional novels seemed to be coming true. Rosenberg has written another non fiction book called Inside the Revolution and has had several End times conferences. He has also worked to support Israel and her neighbors through a charity he started.

Obviously, not everything in Rosenberg’s book series has come true because the series ends with the rapture. Interestingly, Rosenberg is a pre-tribulationist and so all of the events that he portrays in the novel he believes can happen before the tribulation but are events that lead to the tribulation. So whether you are pre, mid, post trib or other, it is very interesting to read the books knowing what hadn’t happened yet when he wrote each book.

More to the point now, another event or maybe even series of events that Rosenberg wrote about has come true. One thing many end times students couldn’t figure out, was how Israel would be left alone as written about in prophecy concerning the end times, when America is a staunch ally of Israel. Many had speculated that perhaps America would be destroyed. Rosenberg saw a different possibility, that America would have a president who for various reasons would abandon Israel. This has been happening ever since President Obama has been elected.

Rosenberg specifically wrote about the UN pushing an agenda against Israel in which the US would not block the agenda as it always had. Just a few days ago the UN passed a resolution for Israel to sign the nuclear non proliferation treaty, to give up their nuclear weapons and also while doing so completely ignoring the nuclear build up in Iran. Not only did the US not block this resolution as they had in the past but Obama supported it.

While Rosenberg doesn’t write everything exactly as it winds up happening in real life, that was not his goal. He simply painted a picture of how things might look and he has done a good job. If we are seeing glimpses of the future in Rosenberg’s books it is because God has used Rosenberg. Whether you have read the series before or not, now may be a good time to read it, either for the first time, or again.

People, from the beginning have been deceived by smooth sounding arguments. The snake told eve that if she ate of the fruit she would be like God. Moving forward in time, Adolf Hitler convinced the German people that his answer was the right one and he convinced enough people that rounding up the Jews and killing them was what was best for the common good. We think Americans would never be fooled like that. However, during World War 2 we rounded up American citizens who were of German or Japanese origin and put them in camps for the common good. This happened despite it’s blatant anti-constitutionalism. We are on the edge of this type of problem now. We have started by doing such things as warrant-less wiretaps and labeling American citizens enemy-combatants. Currently the nominee for the supreme court has said things like political speech can be limited, for the common good.

The Internet is about to be regulated for the common good. Obama has said there are too many ideas out there. So for the common good Obama wants to regulate those ideas. While crazy ideas do exist on the Internet, they exist everywhere and regulating it will require the government to be the arbiter of what is truth. This is extremely dangerous, especially if you ever think the government is wrong. We are not far off from where we will have government officials and systems declaring certain rights illegal for the common good.

One large lie about the common good that is prevalent now is that the government is setup and is responsible to provide for every common good. Being anti big-government is not anti-government. Almost no one is in favor of anarchy. However, the government is supposed to be limited and is supposed to preserve the freedom of it’s citizens, not to provide for every possible common good. The Bible commands that we love each other. We are to serve one another and provide for the widow and others in need. But this is a personal responsibility not that of the government. There is clearly a difference for what governments and people can and should do. An individual can’t decide on his own, what is just and start enforcing rulings on strangers. This is the job of the government. An individual can’t go to war with another country. In the same way, the government can’t or at least should take all of your money and decide to give it someone else because they have less, for the common good. The government is not responsible for taking care of every individual’s wants and needs. God does not command governments to give citizens an allowance or to be charged with providing even the basic needs for every individual. What a person sows he reaps. God does not say let the government sow and the citizen reap even if they have done nothing. A government can be set up to care for everyone’s needs, if everyone is in favor of that idea. But almost never does that happen because people realize that some people will work hard while others do nothing. Every attempt at communism has failed and it is almost always setup by dictators, not the people. When the Pilgrims first came to this country they tried self imposed communism and it failed and many people died. The following year they created individual property and work and they did significantly better.

Beck has not come out and said that he thinks we are in the end times but he seems to come close. I’m not sure what he believes or what the Mormon church teaches, if anything about the end times. Beck has said on several occasions though to expect miracles. He may be right, God does do miracles and in the end times the Bible says people will dream dreams and see visions. However, the Bible also warns that the Antichrist and false prophet will perform signs and wonders and will almost deceive the elect,  if that were possible. Beck also is a hopeful man and believes that we will eventually come out of the troubling times we are in and we may indeed. However, if we are in fact in the end times and even if we are not, the only lasting solution is when Jesus returns and sets up his kingdom. In the mean time we are to have our hope in Christ, serve one another in love and spread the Gospel.

Please be praying for Mr. Beck as he has come under serious personal attack with a level of anger and hate towards him that no one deserves, especially for someone who is trying so hard to warn us of the trouble that is coming our way. The level of hate that is coming his way will eventually be felt by every Christian and enemy of the Antichrist.
